Blindsgalore Funds National College Scholarship Program
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 20, 2013 -- Today Blindsgalore (blindsgalore.com) introduces a new scholarship opportunity for female students enrolled in post-secondary education. Partnering with the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), The Blindsgalore National Scholarship has created an essay contest open to women currently enrolled in a college or university. The winner will receive $2000 to help her pursue her academic goals.
Blindsgalore is proud to be a contributing member of the ABWA and looks forward to assisting a deserving female student with her educational and professional posture. As a women-owned company, Blindsgalore finds fostering professional women to be a relevant and overlooked cause, and is pleased to partner with the ABWA. The ABWA has been able to award more than $17 million in scholarships to over 16,000 women thanks to the generous donations of their members, for over sixty years.

Blindsgalore encourages eligible participants to write a 400-600 word essay on how they would transform the space around them in a productive way. To be considered, applicants must be female, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and be currently enrolled in college. This scholarship program is only open to valid U.S. citizens. Qualified applicants are invited to submit their essays to scholarships(at)blindsgalore(dot)com no later than May 15, 2014 by midnight, Pacific Standard Time.
