Blue Jay Wireless Announces Samaritan Program
(PRWEB) February 13, 2015 -- Blue Jay Wireless Announces Samaritan Program
The Blue Jay Samaritan Program was created by Blue Jay Wireless in November 2014 as a way to create career opportunities for people who have already given something to the community in the past or have overcome a unique life challenge. Some Samaritans are people who have overcome a disability or a life challenge and are ready to give back to the community while simultaneously creating an opportunity for themselves. Many Samaritans are Military Veterans who have proven they know how to give to and support the community through the services and sacrifices they have already made. Samaritans are on the front line of the distribution channel and they handle the first steps of new subscriber enrollment. Samaritans are salaried employees and are not compensated by commission for Lifeline enrollments. Each Samaritan has access to high levels of professional and personal development training along with several avenues for career growth and a career path within Blue Jay Wireless.
“The creation of the Samaritan Program at Blue Jay is directly aligned with the corporate mission to connect disadvantaged citizens with employers, family and friends while simultaneously creating employment opportunities for those who only need a door to be opened for them,” states David Wareikis, Blue Jay’s Chief Executive Officer. “As an equal opportunity employer, we have an incredibly diverse workplace at Blue Jay. Today I’m proud to say that we have over 20 Samaritan employees doing distribution for Blue Jay which are Veterans or disabled Veterans having previously served in the Military.”
Through the Samaritan and Lifeline Programs, Blue Jay Wireless is attempting to help the entire community grow and prosper as we all move into the 21st century together. Blue Jay Wireless remains vigilant when enforcing the strict rules set forth by the FCC in determining qualified consumers for the Lifeline Program across the country. Available in every state, territory, commonwealth, and on Tribal lands, the Lifeline program is available to eligible low-income consumers, and allows for only one Lifeline phone per household. Eligibility criteria may vary by state.
