Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School Ranked No. 1 Again for an International Career in Hospitality in the Asia Pacific and Australasia Region

The curriculum at BMIHMS combines academic business management studies with practical learning within simulated hotel environments. BMIHMS provides two fast-track Bachelor of Business undergraduate degree courses where students can specialize in International Hotel and Resort Management or International Event Management with two six-month industry placements. Students are initially based in Leura in the picturesque Blue Mountains at the residential Practical Learning Centre. They then progress to study in Sydney at the modern Executive Business Centre in the heart of the city. Programs at the postgraduate level include an International Hotel Management Master Degree with a six-month industry placement, the only course of its kind in Sydney. This survey was conducted in May and June 2013 to establish the relative ranking of the various hospitality management schools in Asia Pacific and Australasia from which international hospitality companies are likely to recruit staff. An online survey was delivered to more than 50,000 hospitality managers working in more than 80 countries.
