Blue Rock Ventures, LLC Private Equity Firm Launches In Dallas Texas
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) July 31, 2015 -- Blue Rock Ventures, LLC, a private equity company focused on the acquisition of private companies and assets in areas including technology, commercial real estate and oil and gas interests, has launched. Blue Rock Ventures, LLC is wholly owned by CEO Jeff Gordon’s family investment firm, Black Shark Family Investments, LLC and will be temporarily located at 2323 Bryan Street in Dallas while their new home is being built on the 42nd Floor of Thanksgiving Tower in Downtown Dallas.
The company will be based in Dallas, Texas, and will be led by CEO Jeff Gordon. Gordon is currently President and CEO of Texas Coastal Energy Company, an oil and gas exploration and production company formed by Gordon in 2011. Gordon will continue his leadership at Texas Coastal Energy Company and will split his time between both companies.
“Our plan with Blue Rock is to acquire profitable companies and further drive the success of these businesses by leveraging our team of executives and managers who have a strong history in technology, management and leadership,” said Gordon. “In addition we are setting up a shared services model to further help minimize operating costs while combining services such as marketing, legal, HR, finance and operations into centralized areas.”
The shared services model will allow Blue Rock Ventures to further maximize and drive return for these companies, while still allowing for a tailored approach to the services they provide. “This will free up each company to be able to focus on their core operations and business. By centralizing things such as payroll or marketing communications, we can alleviate some redundancies and allow the executives to focus on driving their respective businesses,” said Gordon.
