BlueGreen Energy Solutions Helps Wind Creek Atmore to Provide Cleaner Water

Atmore, Alabama (PRWEB) March 17, 2016 -- BlueGreen Energy Solutions is proud to announce that it will install an ElectroCell water filtration system to provide cleaner water and improve efficiency for the HVAC and hydronic loop systems at Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Atmore. The deal was finalized February 10, 2016 and will not only clean the water throughout the piping system at the facility, but it will also provide Wind Creek substantial savings.

Wind Creek has acquired an ElectroCell System, a state-of-the-art water treatment system, from BlueGreen Energy Solutions. It is a side stream particle precipitator that acts as a removal system for unwanted and problematic particles in the water system. These particles affect the quality of the water, and they also act to reduce efficiency of the HVAC system and create maintenance problems down the road.

“We project the savings Wind Creek will experience to be in excess of $100,000 per year by way of power, water and maintenance cost reductions with our equipment,” said Albert Reynolds, Principal of BlueGreen Energy Solutions. “Wind Creek has had issues with sediment in their water systems. We are going to be able to remove that sediment and help their equipment function more efficiently and more cost effectively.”

First, ElectroCell removes 95% of suspended solids found in water down to one micron and below. Second, dissolved solids are held in a solution to be bled out when mineral levels become too high. This process reduces the consumption of energy and water within the facility and enhances thermos-conductivity which results in a cleaner, greener and healthier operation.

“We have been working to get this project going for a while and BlueGreen has been great,” Paul Norman, Director of Facilities at Wind Creek said. “Knowing that we have eliminated our sediment issues and that our equipment will run better and more cheaply made this an easy decision for us.”

Reynolds said that the ElectroCell system will be installed and fully functional by May. The system will pay for itself within 24-26 months of installation.
