Blueworx Releases Voice Response for Linux 7.3
TULSA, Okla. and WINCHESTER, UK (PRWEB) October 19, 2017 -- Blueworx, a provider of Interactive Voice and Customer Experience solutions designed to deliver efficient, scalable, and reliable voice technologies, announced the release of Blueworx Voice Response 7.3 for Linux. Blueworx Voice Response for Linux 7.3 includes significant enhancements for clustered and private Cloud environments making the management of multiple servers and applications easier than ever.
Blueworx Voice Response (BVR) is a customer experience platform designed to deliver the highest levels of performance, security, reliability and scalability. Our development team continues to deliver enhancements to the Blueworx IVR platform, providing customers with the flexibility of deploying voice solutions across multiple deployment models. Blueworx offers voice and customer experience solutions on-premises, in the cloud or as a hybrid solution.
This release introduces two new significant features, the Blueworx Resource Manager (BRM) and the Configuration Profile Database (CPD).
Blueworx Resource Manager
Blueworx Resource Manager (BRM) establishes a new central point for configuring, controlling and querying Blueworx Voice Response on one server or a cluster. BRM is responsible for providing BVR with configuration details to handle calls, manage licenses and gather monitoring data from multiple BVR instances. It also serves as a foundation for future feature development and management.
Configuration Profile Database
The Configuration Profile Database introduces a significantly improved method of storing data for BVR and BRM. Using a centralized database allows for configurations to be shared across multiple instances of BVR, in addition to significantly providing more speed and flexibility as the amount of data stored increases.
Together, these features allow BVR to be configured for each individual call rather than configuring an entire system, offering significantly more flexibility, particularly when multiple applications and/or multiple tenants share the same cluster.
The Blueworx IVR, Resource Manager and Configuration database have been designed to run independently across virtual servers, providing increased performance and flexibility.
Additional Features
• Enhancements to the data provided in Call Detail Records (CDRs)
• A command-line utility for configuring the cluster through BRM
• Support for RedHat 7 / CentOS 7
