Blumenthal, Nordrehaug & Bhowmik File a Class Action Lawsuit Against AIDS Healthcare Foundation Alleging Unpaid Overtime Wages and Missed Meal Breaks

The class action lawsuit further alleges, in violation of the applicable sections of the California Labor Code and the requirements of the Industrial Welfare Commission ("IWC") Wage Order, AIDS Healthcare Foundation as a matter of company policy, practice and procedure, intentionally and knowingly failed to compensate its employees at the correct rate of pay for all overtime worked.
Additionally, the lawsuit also seeks payment relating to alleged missed meal and rest breaks because allegedly AIDS Healthcare Foundation did not have a policy to provide their hourly employees thirty (30) minute uninterrupted meal breaks prior to their fifth (5th) hour of work.
