The Spring Aboard campaign, which was launched last year by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA), is the first national campaign specifically to support enrollment in boating education.

Recent U.S. Coast Guard statistics indicate that, where the level of boating education was known, 80% of boating deaths occurred on boats where the boat operator had never received boating education instruction.
