Bob Bilsker, MS, Has Just Earned the Designation of CDC Certified Divorce Coach® and Is Opening Bilsker Coaching, a South Florida Coaching Practice
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) September 27, 2013 -- Bob Bilsker has just been awarded the designation of CDC Certified Divorce Coach®. He completed a 15 week, 56 hour program which engages coaches in developing best practices and effective ways of supporting individuals in divorce. Divorce coaching is an emerging field in the divorce industry that can offer great value to someone facing divorce.
The CDC College for Divorce Coaching® trains coaches to be a sounding board and thinking partner to serve individual clients in any of the three phases of divorce: at the outset to help in the difficult coming to grips process; during the divorce process to support clear and informed decision-making and communication; and in the post-divorce transition. A CDC Certified Divorce Coach® can save divorcing individuals time and money by helping the client get organized for the process, providing qualified resources, and by helping the client through the rough spots in their divorce process.
As a CDC Certified Divorce Coach®, Bilsker is opening his practice Bilsker Coaching, and specializes in helping the individual parents of teenagers – a father or a mother - through the rough spots in their divorce. “What inspires me”, Bilsker explains, “is that when someone comes to you because they are a parent who is stressed and overwhelmed, I am that comforting voice at the other end of the phone, working in partnership to help them discover where to get some momentum and then having the confidence to take the first step to get back on the right track.”
No stranger to the sometimes challenging behavior of adolescents and teenagers, Bilsker has transformed his experience in working in a variety of mental health settings with adolescents to that of a certified divorce coach, serving individual parents during the very difficult and turbulent times of divorce in a non judgmental, professional and confidential manner.
Bilsker has a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology and is certified as a Behavior Analyst. “I am bringing my background in mental health and my own personal experience in divorce together with my formal training with the CDC College for Divorce Coaching® to think outside of the box and help my clients discover unique solutions to problems that have them stumped or stuck. I relate to people and help them figure out what direction to go in. One of the things I liked best about the course was the process –coaching is much lighter and much more focused on moving forward, creating a safe environment to explore and achieve your goals.
