Bocce National Championship in Baltimore
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) June 20, 2014 -- The Old World Game has turned into a nationwide social league! The Baltimore Bocce League was the original social bocce league in the USA.
Now there are Bocce Leagues across the entire country! It all started with the Baltmore Skeeball League, started by Giovanni Marcantoni (Baltimore native). It soon spread up and down the east coast and as far west as Seattle.
Giovanni started the Bocce league for people who wanted meet new people and didn't want to play softball or Flag Football. " Bocce Leagues are a great way to meet new people, hang out with friends and they have gotten surprisingly competitive. This weekend is a the first ever national event we have ever done and we wanted to do something to bring all the leagues together. Anyone can play no matter your age, gender or athletic ability."
