Bold Marketers Recognized As Second Annual Cojones Awards Finalists Named, Public Voting Opens Today
Austin, TX (PRWEB) February 19, 2015 -- Celebrating the boldness needed to be a modern marketer, nFusion and an esteemed panel of experts name this year’s Cojones Awards nominees. The marketing industry is invited to vote for winners alongside the expert panel in a tweet-2-vote campaign that launches today. The winners will be announced at the Cojones Awards during SXSWi in Austin Saturday, March 14.
“It was an off-the-cuff remark that the ‘C’ in ‘CMO’ stands for Cojones that led to the Cojones Awards,” shared nFusion CEO John Ellett. “In reality, though, we realize that it takes ingenuity, science and major guts to successfully lead marketing in today’s environment. Modern marketers need cojones to get the job done right.”
Last year Cojones Awards winners included marketing executives from GoPro, L’OREAL, Samsung and more. This year’s lineup of finalists is equally impressive and courageous. Joining nFusion in the task of nominating the potential Cojones Award winners were Caren Fleit (Korn/Ferry), Jennifer Rooney (Forbes CMO Network), Eduardo Conrado (Motorola Solutions), Kathy Button Bell (Emerson) and Rob Malcolm (University of Texas McCombs School of Business).
The public is invited to help vote for winners by going to the Cojones Awards landing page: cojones-awards.com. Winners will be chosen based on the public’s tweet-2-vote tallies and votes from the advisory panel; they’ll be honored at a special event on Saturday, March 14 at SXSWi 2015.
