Boltt to Debut Triple-threat Solution to Fitness Tracking at CES 2017
USA (PRWEB) December 20, 2016 -- Boltt Sports Technology will be exhibiting at CES and holding a press conference on January 6th, 2017 from 3:00-4:00pm to showcase the company’s innovative all-in-one fitness system. With the AI health and fitness coach, Connected Shoe, Stride Sensor and Smart Band, the company has a goal to revolutionize the fitness and training space. Boltt is currently in the pre-launch stage and will be launching on Kickstarter soon to raise funds for final production.
The Boltt Connected Shoe is embedded with sensors that have the ability to track movements using the wearer’s biomechanical data. With these sensors, the wearer is able to get advanced, useful feedback pertaining to their workout and/or running experience. Every Connected Shoe comes equipped with functionalities like energy bounce back, impact absorption, supportive cushioning balance and balanced -gripping ground control for a comfortable and natural movement. Using the free Boltt application, users can track information such as cadence, speed, calories, steps, velocity, acceleration, distance and power output.
Boltt’s Stride Sensor uses sensors that are co-developed with Garmin, a leader in wearable technology, to capture all running and sports metrics in real time. The Stride Sensor is also able to provide the wearer with stride length, ground impact time, speed, cadence, distance, calories, steps and workout efficiency metrics. The Stride Sensor is designed so it can be clipped onto any standard shoe, the sole of the Connected Shoe or ankle band and can be easily connected to the Boltt application to retrieve real-time feedback.
With a 24/7 activity tracker, the Boltt Smart Band measures wearer’s hourly steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned and flights climbed. The band also is able to track sleeping patterns and breaks sleep duration down into whether it was deep, light or REM.
“We have created the first triple-threat connected fitness system and will be demonstrating for the first time to the public at CES,” said project creator Arnav Kishore. “The press conference will allow us to demonstrate to those who are interested in the innovative 360-degree solution how Boltt can improve the way people live and help them live healthier lives.”
One of the most innovative aspects of Boltt is the included virtual health assistant and workout partner named B. With B, wearers are able to receive valuable information and encouragement throughout the duration of their workout to push them harder and help them reach their goal. B analyses body movements in real time and gives the wearer voice cues to run faster, perform better and maintain proper form. B also analyses eating habits, sleep and activity patterns. B uses AI technology to learn more about the wearer each time B is used.
Boltt invites members of the media who will be in attendance at CES to see the innovative system in person. The press conference room is able to hold up to fifty people, so interested persons are encouraged to contact Ashley Rose at ashley(at)commandpartners(dot)com to reserve a seat.
