Booboo Stewart, Christopher Heyerdahl, and Jessica Tuck Join the Cast of Honeyglue
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 09, 2014 -- Booboo Stewart, Christopher Heyerdahl, and Jessica Tuck join the cast of Zombot Pictures upcoming independent film “Honeyglue,” filming in Los Angeles in February.
Honeyglue follows the story of Morgan (Adriana Mather), who flips her conservative, protected life upside down after learning she has three months left to live. She sets out on a bucket list of adventures with a purse snatching ex-junkie cross dresser Jordan (Zach Villa). Morgan’s family, played by Christopher Heyerdahl (“Hell on Wheels”) and Jessica Tuck (“Super 8,” “True Blood”), are faced with a decision to accept their daughter’s fate and let her enjoy her last moments, or continue to seek further treatment and medical guidance. Booboo Stewart, who is most famous for his roles as Seth in the Twilight Saga and Warpath in the upcoming “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” will co-star as Morgan’s brother, Bailey.
Honeyglue is written and directed by James Bird.
Anya Remizova and Adriana Mather are producing.
The team’s previous work includes “Chasing Shakespeare” (starring Danny Glover, Graham Greene, Tantoo Cardinal) that has gained recognition and won numerous awards on the festival circuit, including SXSW, Dallas International Film Festival, Montreal Black Film Festival, American Indian Institute Film Festival, as well as a comedy feature “Eat Spirit Eat” (Waterfront Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, FirstGlance, LA Skins Fest), which is scheduled for release by GoDigital in the spring of 2014.
