Boston VA Research Institute Goes Live With Ekualiti KC
SAN DIEGO, CA (PRWEB) September 24, 2015 -- Vivantech is proud to announce that the Boston VA Research Institute, Inc. (BVARI), is now live with Ekualiti KC at their facilities. BVARI is a nonprofit organization that supports the medical and educational research conducted by the VA Boston Healthcare System. The successful implementation has automated processes and improved efficiencies within their research and grants award management, improving their day-to-day operations.
Even in the amount of short time that Ekualiti KC has been in production at their institution, they have already noticed an extraordinary difference. Their previous system was a parallel of an Access database and paper documentation, and all of their reports were custom built. Whenever a request for information was made by the finance department or a regulatory committee, it would congest their office. Version control was one of their biggest problems, causing many headaches and lots of time pulling files and trying to figure out which version was the most recent. When they rushed to their computers to pull the information, network slowdowns held them back.
Version control isn’t a problem anymore, giving them the peace of mind that they are always viewing the latest data which is housed on a secure and professionally maintained cloud environment. The Director of Operations & Sponsored Programs at BVARI, Amy H. Kimball boasts, “Now I can answer a request for information in less than 5 minutes because the data is right there in front of me.” They even believe that Ekualiti is so user friendly that anyone ought to be able to intuitively find the data they are seeking with a minimal need for training.
