Boxman Studios Awarded Fastest Growing Company in the Charlotte Region by Charlotte Business Journal
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) December 16, 2013 -- Boxman Studios, the recognized leader in modified shipping containers, topped the list of 50 companies vying for recognition as the fastest growing company in Charlotte and the surrounding region. Tripling their employee base, and incurring a 510% growth in revenue over the past three years, Boxman Studios nearly doubled the growth rate of the second place winner.

The Fast 50 is determined by the Charlotte Business Journal and is awarded to the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Charlotte region. The businesses were selected and ranked by average revenue growth from 2010 to 2012. To qualify, companies had to have at least $1 million in revenue in 2012 and be based in the Charlotte region. The numbers were analyzed and verified by CliftonLarsonAllen, a Fast 50 partner.
Coming off the heels of major builds and national tours with Hyundai and IMG College, Boxman Studios shows no signs of slowing down. “We’ve moved to three different headquarters in four years because of growth,” explained Marketing Director, Jim Mitchem. "And we've added a lot of great people along the way. As long as we keep creating amazing things, we’ll continue to grow.”
When asked about his feelings on being a part of the Fast 50 for the first time, COO Troy Selberg answered, “It was great, but I have to believe the second time will be even better.”
