Brad Schmett Announces Palm Springs Cruisin’ Boosts Boomer Home Interest
Palm Springs, CA (PRWEB) March 01, 2017 -- Brad Schmett, of Brad Schmett Real Estate Group and Keller Williams Realty announced today that the first Saturday of the month, traditional “Cruise-In” sponsored by the Palm Springs Cruisin’ Association will be a big boost for local luxury homes and investments as baby boomers and classic car buffs head to the Westfield Mall in Palm Desert for the first Saturday Cruise-In. Other events are planned throughout the month of March to the delight of those who love hot rods and classics.
Palm Springs Cruisin’ Association started out over 25 years ago as a small gathering of car buffs and has exploded into a full-fledged nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to promote camaraderie among local car enthusiasts as well as to stage and promote charitable car events. An average of more than 150 cars a month participate in the popular event including muscle cars, classic cars, street rods, hot rods, Corvettes, antiques, customs, restored and original collectible cars and even motorcycles.
Schmett recently talked about the phenomenon, “Many of our local car enthusiasts also participate in the world-famous Reno event, Hot August Nights, as well as other car shows across the nation for competition and charitable causes. It is always great fun to see these beautiful and pristine automobiles and motorcycles cruising up and down Highway 111 on the first Saturday night of the month. This is just one of the reasons so many of my clients have purchased homes here in the Coachella Valley. We have a wonderful population of active baby boomers who know how to enjoy life.”
Everyone is welcome to participate and there is a free viewing for the general public each month. There are coloring in hula hoop contests for the kids, a raffle and a 50-50 drawing along with trophy presentations and family activities.
