Bradford Networks Strengthens Sales Leadership Team and Opens New Boston Office
Boston, MA (PRWEB) June 10, 2016 -- Bradford Networks, an innovator in transforming network security through visibility, context and control, today announced Gary Mead has joined the company to serve as vice president international sales, and Neal Stanton as vice president of sales for the Americas. Both Mead and Stanton are highly experienced sales leaders, with diverse backgrounds in the networking and enterprise security markets.
Bradford Networks became the go-to choice for the education market in the early days, but the past two years have seen sales to enterprise customers soar, accounting for 80 percent of new product revenue this year. As the cybersecurity threat expands, security automation is a critical focal point for enterprises worldwide, especially with a significant shift of IT security budgets from prevention to detection and threat response. Global IT security spending is expected to reach $101B by 2018 according to Gartner.

Mead has operated in all major geographic areas including the Americas, Europe, Middle East/Africa and Asia-Pacific territories and held senior positions with companies including Motorola, PictureTel, Octave Communications, IBM, SpectraLink, Colubris Networks and HP.
Stanton joins Bradford Networks from CafeX where he served multiple roles, including VP of Global Channels, developing and leading their channel program. Stanton has held numerous leadership roles including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Consultedge, where he was responsible for all aspects of Consultedge’s strategy, operations, and execution.
Bradford Networks also opened new headquarters office on the Boston waterfront to house sales, marketing and executive staff. Corporate operations, R&D, service and support will continue to be located in Concord, NH.
