Bradley & Guzzetta, LLC Welcomes Tom Hagen Focusing on Veterans Legal Needs
Woodbury, MN (PRWEB) January 05, 2014 -- Bradley & Guzzetta, LLC has been in existence for fifteen years led by its partners Mike Bradley and Steve Guzzetta, both of whom have been practicing law over 20 years. They are pleased to welcome Tom Hagen to the law firm who will be concentrating his practice on military veterans, helping with veterans’ benefits, criminal matters, re-employment rights, veterans’ preference, and the Service members Civil Relief Act, among other matters.
An accomplished attorney and military judge advocate (JAG) with credentials in law and public policy, Tom has been practicing in Minnesota since 1998. A 24 year veteran of the Minnesota Army National Guard with three overseas deployments, including two tours in Iraq with the 34th "Red Bull" Infantry Division, he currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Tom has also served at all levels of government, including as U.S. Senate staff member, as an Assistant to the Commissioner at the Minnesota Department of Commerce, and as a two-term Mayor of Waseca, Minnesota.
“Tom brings a proven track-record of managing conflict, resolving issues, mitigating risks and influencing leaders. With his military background, we are thrilled to have him join us and focus on our military veterans and their legal needs,” said Mike Bradley, also a former JAG officer. In addition to his focus on veterans, Hagen’s other areas of practice include municipal law, regulated industries, government affairs, general law and non-profits. In 2010, Tom Hagen was awarded the Minnesota State Bar Association Award of Professional Excellence Award, among others.
Bradley & Guzzetta have supported military veterans for many years. Mr. Bradley served as a JAG officer (1996-2004) with the Minnesota Army National Guard, created the military affairs committee at the Minnesota State Bar Association, and helped to create a pro bono program for deployed military service members and their families in the mid-2000s. It eventually became the largest pro bono outreach of the bar association. Hagen’s work will continue this commitment to military veterans.
