Brain Health Conference to Bring TED Talk Sensation and World-Renowned Experts to West MI
Grand Rapids, Michigan (PRWEB) September 09, 2015 -- Universal Health Solutions, a locally-based integrative medicine organization, will host its 3rd Annual Medicine Beyond Medication: Rethinking Brain Health conference in Grand Rapids, MI on October 9-10, 2015. The cutting-edge conference will feature keynote presentations by world-renowned health professionals and authors in the field of psychiatry, cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, nuclear medicine, holistic medicine, neurology and more.
“Each year Universal Health Solutions focuses on a theme that resonates with the medical community,” said Laurie Angell, founder of Universal Health Solutions and conference coordinator. “We have world-renowned doctors, researchers, authors and more converging on Grand Rapids for Medicine Beyond Medication: Rethinking Brain Health. Each year the event attracts medical professionals from throughout the United States to discuss integrative medicine through keynote presentations, panel and small group discussions.”
From traumatic brain injury (TBI) to digital toxicity, and from pain management to the effects of meditation on cardiovascular health, the brain is at the center this year’s two-day event. The impressive lineup of speakers will talk about compassion in medicine, particularly after a massive assault on the brain, how our screen addiction, digital toxicity and “FOMO” (fear of missing out) compromises brain function, and the importance of protecting and healing the brain, especially post-concussion. Each day will feature three keynote presentations.
