BRAIN One, the First Smart Telemetry Sensor for Motorsports and Any Action Sport, Launches Kickstarter Campaign

BRAIN One launched a Kickstarter campaign today with a funding goal of €50,000 in 30 days. This is the first smart stand-alone telemetry device available to the general public at an affordable price.
BRAIN One is a portable device that attaches to any vehicle or apparatus without cables or wires. Once placed, users can easily remove it and place it on another vehicle at any time. It contains a range of sensors, including GPS+Glonass, thermometer, microphone, barometer, 9-axis inertial sensor and more, that measure all aspects of an action sport performance--from speed and bending angles to lap time and elevation differences.
“Typical telemetry devices can be costly. BRAIN One gives extreme sport enthusiasts the portability and tools needed to track their performance, like the professionals, in real-time,” says BRAIN Founder Simone Grillo. “We’ve integrated many components that give users a sense of social inclusion as well. Users have the ability to share their performance data on social media, create action videos with stats automatically overlaid and even challenge their friends.”
BRAIN One is designed to be user-friendly. With the push of a button, BRAIN One begins a recording session and feeds information to an Android or iOS phone via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE in real time. It can also store information into the internal memory ready to be synced. Users can control and share the results of their sessions through a smartphone or smartwatch and can even create events or challenge friends.
Using BRAIN VIEW software users can create action-packed videos that are overlaid with their performance data, automatically synchronized without any manual action. These videos and performance data can then be shared via social media integrations. BRAIN One is an open and multisport device with an open API, allowing users to unlock infinite development possibilities for their favorite sport, whether that is motocross, go karting, snowboarding or anything else.
