Braintree Printing Attends Print 13, Purchases MBO Folding Machine

Braintree Printing’s owners Jim Corliss, Jerry Hogan and Jose Tafur travel each year from the company’s plant in Braintree, MA to the annual Chicago convention. “To continue growing in this industry, it’s crucial to stay on top of the latest and greatest in printing innovations,” said Corliss. “This was a good way to meet with manufacturers and suppliers and see equipment, products and services in action,” said Corliss who said it is also a prime time to network with colleagues.
The most comprehensive global graphic communications exhibition and conference in North America, Print 13 hosted 700 exhibitors filling seven acres of exhibit space. Attendees included quick and small printers like Braintree Printing as well photo imagers, mailing and fulfillment professionals, book publishers, newspaper printers, marketing/creative services professionals, and media/print buyers.
The enormous exhibition space at Print13 allowed equipment seekers like Braintree Printing to see and test drive the latest offset, digital, and hybrid technologies as well as bindery and finishing equipment. Over the years, Braintree Printing has acquired machines they sampled firsthand at graphic communications conventions. This year, Corliss and colleagues were in the market for a newer, faster model and purchased an MBO folding machine from Pasquariello Graphics of North.
