Braintrust Adds Oklahoma City to 2015 Scrum Certification Training Schedule

This is the first Oklahoma City Scrum training class to be added to the national 2015 Braintrust training schedule.
Braintrust’s two-day Certified ScrumMaster class offers attendees an in-depth immersion into the world of Scrum. This class is ideal for IT Professionals (Architects, BAs, DBAs, Developers, Testers, etc.), IT Leadership (Managers/Directors/VPs/CIOs/CTOs), and Project Managers seeking professional development and continuing education. Michele Sliger, CST, MBA, PMP, will lead the ScrumMaster training class. Sliger is the co-author of The Software Project Manager’s Bridge to Agility. She has extensive experience in agile software development, having transitioned to Scrum and XP practices in 2000 after starting her career following the traditional waterfall approach. A self-described “bridge builder,” her passion lies in helping those in traditional software development environments cross the bridge to agility. In keeping with this vision, she helped to establish the Project Management Institute’s Agile Community of Practice, and currently serves on the leadership council. Michele also served as a Scrum Alliance board member from 2009-2011. She is a frequent conference speaker and regular contributor to software industry publications such as StickyMinds. A former adjunct graduate professor at the University of Colorado, Sliger holds an undergraduate MIS degree from the University of South Florida and an MBA from Regis University.
