Braintrust Kicks Off 2015 Scrum Training Schedule in Des Moines, Iowa on February 9

The Braintrust Consulting Group has bundled a series of classes including Scrum Essentials, Agile Engineering Practices, and User Story Workshop into an in-depth five-day training to earn Scrum Developer certification, as outlined by The Scrum Alliance.

The Agile Engineering Practices course will be held February 11-13, 2015 for those who may have already fulfilled other components of the Certified Scrum Developer certification. Agile Engineering Practices is aimed at helping software development professionals and teams become more effective when implementing Scrum and other Agile software development methodologies. It is designed to deliver the core Agile Development Practices Learning Objectives of that program and should prepare the participant to successfully pass the Scrum Alliance CSD Candidate Assessment. Members of the Project Management Institute will earn 21 Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward maintaining their existing credentials for attending this class.
Scrum Essentials (February 9-8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) offers attendees a one-day in-depth immersion into the world of Scrum. This class is an introduction to Scrum that requires no prerequisites and is full of practical, real world techniques that attendees can implement immediately at their workplace. It is an ideal class for software architects, software developers, software development managers, and systems analysts who are interested in aligning development efforts around delivering the highest business value features first and increasing customer satisfaction and time to market delivery, among the other benefits of Scrum. Members of the Project Management Institute will earn 7 Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward maintaining their existing credentials by attending this class.
User Story Workshop (February 10-8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) class is a one-day in-depth focus on how to gather Agile requirements and document them as User Stories. This class is ideal for business analysts, product managers/owners, and anyone who wants to understand how to adapt this Agile best practice. Members of the Project Management Institute will earn 7 Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward maintaining their existing credentials by attending this class.
