Bravo's Courtney Loves Dallas' Courtney Kerr Discusses Show and Love Life on Maria Menounos' AfterBuzz TV Network
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 12, 2014 -- In 2011 Courtney Kerr starred on Bravo's Most Eligible Dallas which earned her her own spin-off series called Courtney Loves Dallas. The series chronicles her adventures as she socializes, continues to start her new career, and looks for her future husband. This past week, Kerr appeared on Maria Menounos' “aftershow” network, AfterBuzz TV, where she was interviewed by hosts Courtney Henderson and Stephanie McGrath as part of the network's Courtney Loves Dallas aftershow. During the interview, Kerr discussed her love life, her mom's skin cancer, and the show's validity.
A lot of Courtney Loves Dallas, revolves around Kerr's love life, an almost continuation of the events of the original series events, Most Eligible Dallas. When asked about an update on things, Kerr responds, “What I have learned is that friends are usually right. If a friend warns you about a man, they see something you don’t see. Women, we’re blinded by love.”
The show also brings Kerr's mom's skin cancer battle into the public spotlight. Kerr hopes to raise awareness for the disease by having it be integral to the show. “Skin cancer awareness month is in May, this coming May so I’ll be doing a lot of stuff with the skin cancer foundation to really help raise awareness and to teach girls to stay out of the sun and stay out of the tanning beds...When you see your mom have a hole in the middle of her nose... the tan’s not worth it,” Kerr says.
Kerr went on to discuss the validity of the reality show itself, stating, “I was always very persistent and just really cautious of making sure that this was not a manufactured show. It’s very me...What you see is what you get. When people meet me in person they’re like, yep that’s exactly how she is.”
