Breakthrough Bartender Locator App Officially Launches in App Stores
Austin, TX. (PRWEB) June 07, 2016 -- Vett Local, a bartender locator app that showcases local bartenders, officially launched in the iTunes and Google Play stores this week. Vett Local promotes bartenders by allowing them to create profiles and lets users search and explore bartenders in their surrounding area. Bartenders create a profile by filling out what bars they work at, uploading pictures and videos and providing interesting facts about themselves. The app also provides an interactive map for users to easily find bartenders around them at any time.
“The way bartenders and bar patrons interact and make decisions was inconsistent at best," said Peter Lachmann, co-founder and COO of Vett Local. "Finding bars in your area is easy, but bartenders are the ones who really make the experience unique. Vett Local bridges the gap between bartenders and bar patrons by enabling bartenders to promote themselves, their talents, and where they are working at all times in an easily accessed forum."
Users can also promote bartenders by favoriting them. Cities' most favorited bartenders are highlighted on the app gaining further exposure and popularity. Bar patrons are also alerted when a favorited bartender is working and can search to see which of their favorite bartenders are on the clock.

To promote the app, Vett Local is hosting a launch party at Swan Dive in Austin, TX, on Thursday, June 16. The event is free and will feature live music from local bands MCG, Slomo Drags, and Chief White Lightning.
