BreakThrough Physical Therapy Sponsoring Camel City Cup
Winston Salem, NC (PRWEB) September 09, 2015 -- BreakThrough Physical Therapy (BTPT) is proud to announce they are a sponsor for the Camel City Cup CrossFit competition on September 26, 2015. In addition to providing injury support on site during the competition, BTPT Marketing Rep Kim Kestner will be participating with Victoria Wyatt as part of the “BreakThrough Barbellas” team.
The event, which will be held at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, asks participants to register in groups of two males or two females in either RX (advanced) or scaled divisions. The BreakThrough Barbellas will participate in the scaled division and will be required to perform box jumps, clean and jerks, deadlifts, single unders, front squats, kettlebell swings, overhead squats, push-presses, pull ups, burpees, and thrusters.
“I started training at CrossFit Hogtown in January as a means to get my body in better condition,” said Kestner, who also personal trains and competes in Strongman competitions. “Now that I’ve committed to a competition I feel driven to be the best training partner, which also means throwing my reservations out the door. No excuses!”
Wyatt, who works full time and studies accounting, wanted to perform to prove to herself that her body is capable of pushing the limits.
In addition to providing support at the event by helping athletes stretch and checking injuries, BTPT physios will hand out free screen cards and BioFreeze to participants. They have also been checking the Barbellas for injury as they train in preparation of the competition.
