BreakThrough Physical Therapy Sponsoring Local Dancing With Our Stars
Morehead City, NC (PRWEB) March 23, 2015 -- BreakThrough Physical Therapy (BTPT) is proud to announce they sponsored Cartaret County Partnership for Children’s fundraising event Dancing With Our Stars on February 28, 2015. Among the dancers participating in the competition was Matt Lara, Physical Therapy Tech at BTPT.
Funds from the event, which was held at the Crystal Coast Civic Center, benefits the Carteret County Partnership for Children as they advocate for young children in the Morehead City area. Funds will help them distribute books to kids through their Reach Out and Read and Story Explorers Playgroups programs, provide opportunities for high quality early education and smaller childcare class sizes, and award scholarships to childcare educators pursuing higher education, among other things.
“We are thrilled to have participated in Dancing with Our Stars,” said Matt Lara. “Not only will the funds from the evening support an incredible cause, but it’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together to enjoy a night of dancing.”
Lara, who teaches ballroom dancing in addition to his work with BTPT, danced in the competition with Jayme Limbaugh, the owner of Morehead City’s Anytime Fitness.
