Bridgewater Gym Rides to Fight Diabetes on June 1
Bridgewater, NJ (PRWEB) May 23, 2014 -- Gold's Gym Bridgewater is pleased to announce the formation of the Gold’s Gym Bridgewater Bike Team. The entire community is welcome to join the team to ride with us on June 1 in the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure ride to fight diabetes. This year's team promises to be bigger than ever.
The Tour ride is on June 1 in Basking Ridge, NJ and riders have their choice of 13, 30, 50, 75 or 100 miles, so there is something for everyone, including live music and lunch following the ride.
Nationally, Gold's Gym has raised over $3.5 million since becoming a National Sponsor and Strategic Partner with the American Diabetes Association to fight this disease that is affecting so many of our adults and children.
This will be the second year that Team Gold’s Gym in Bridgewater will be riding together. “It's a great feeling to know that something that is so much fun, has become a national movement that is truly making a difference for people,” says Mary Zampetti, Gold’s Gym Team Captain.
Proper diet and regular exercise are the best ways to prevent and manage this disease and the Gold's Gym lifestyle is all about learning to do both. It's more important than ever to be responsible for taking care of yourself and your health and that is the message that Gold's Gym brings to the community every day!
