BridgeWave Communications and SCALTEL AG Announce Strategic Distribution Agreement
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 01, 2017 -- BridgeWave Communications, a market leader in wireless point-to-point backhaul systems, today announced a strategic distribution agreement with SCALTEL AG, a leading systems integrator and provider of innovative IT technologies to small and midsize enterprises throughout Germany. Under the agreement, SCALTEL AG, headquartered in Waltenhofen in the Allgäu, will market, sell, and support BridgeWave millimeter wave and microwave systems to their customers throughout Germany including those in telecom, healthcare, government, and public safety.

SCALTEL is currently deploying BridgeWave’s newest 80GHz system, the Flex4G-5000, which for ETSI bands delivers up 4.7 Gbps full duplex capacity per radio and 9.4Gbps in a 2+0 configuration, and for ANSI bands up to 5.3Gbps and 10.7Gbps in a 2+0 configuration. The Flex4G-5000 offers an alternative to fiber in dense urban areas, and provides SCALTEL customers with a backhaul system that quickly scales to meet future capacity requirements.

BridgeWave will shortly announce two new products built on custom ASICs. These ASICs, developed in-house and company-owned, will enable BridgeWave to offer products that are feature-rich, and deliver ultra-high capacity at remarkable price points. The first of these is a high capacity licensed microwave system supporting 6-42GHz frequency bands. The next is an 80GHz system, which will deliver 10Gbps capacity for true fiber replacement.
