Bright Horizons are delighted to announce that they have been officially recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for the 9th consecutive year. The childcare company was rated 11th in the Best Large Sized Workplace category.

This prestigious accolade was presented at the Great Place to Work Awards in London on Tuesday 21st May. The event was hosted by former MP, Gyles Brandreth, who congratulated all of this year’s organisations on their commitment to creating great workplaces.

Bright Horizons care for over 15,000 children each week and are the second-largest employer in the childcare sector, with total staff numbers of over 6,000 and an annual staff turnover which is significantly less than the industry average. The Great Place to Work Institute has recognised Bright Horizons as one of the 50 Best Workplaces in the UK for the past nine years; the only company in the childcare sector to achieve this.

The Best Workplaces Awards celebrate employers who follow a policy of creating positive workplaces in which leaders build high-trust relationships with their employees, based on mutual respect.
