Bright Kids Prepares for Updates to the ERB Exam in New York City

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 28, 2014 -- Last September, the Independent School Admissions Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY) announced that it will not renew its contract with the ERB. Simply put, the test (a modified WPPSI-IV, often called the ECAA) used by city private schools for Kindergarten and 1st grade admissions is no longer going to be provided or required by its larger governing body.

This caused quite a stir in the test taking world, as it left families with no indication of what would happen next. While most schools will wait for ISAAGNY’s new test recommendation coming this spring, some are deciding what they will continue with this next year. Horace Mann’s recent announcement places them among several schools that have already indicated that they will continue with the ECAA as an objective, viable kindergarten admissions test.
