Bright Now!® Dental Tualatin, Oregon, Provides Day of Giving for Individuals Needing Dental Care
Tualatin, Oregon (PRWEB) May 12, 2015 -- Tualatin, Oregon, May 12, 2015 – The Bright Now!® Dental Tualatin, Oregon, office introduces the Day of Giving program on Saturday, May 16, 2015. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Bright Now! Dental office located at 7965 SW Nyberg St., Tualatin, OR 97062. Co-sponsored with the Smiles for Everyone Foundation (SFE Foundation), this inaugural Day of Giving event is an addition to the SFE Foundation’s Community Smile Project which serves up to 1,500 patients per year nationwide.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to give back to the community,” said Dr. Gita Yitta, lead dentist of the Tualatin office. “It’s great to know that we can have such an impact on people’s lives by administering treatment that can improve their oral hygiene."
The Bright Now! Dental office in Tualatin partnered with the Tualatin School House Pantry, which assisted by referring approximately 30 patients who will receive care from volunteer dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants throughout the day. Each patient will receive a free exam, cleaning, and x-rays, plus fillings and extractions as needed.
Twenty volunteers from Bright Now! Dental offices in Beaverton, Gresham, Hillsboro, Milwaukie, Portland and Tualatin are joining efforts to support the Tualatin office for this event. In addition to Dr. Yitta, other dentists donating their time and expertise for the day include Dr. Perry Fiscus, Dr. Chris Kooning and Dr. Jeff Pearson.
