BrightStar Care of San Fernando Valley Recognizes Employee with 2017 West Region Caregiver of the Year Award at Surprise Reveal
Van Nuys, CA (PRWEB) September 18, 2017 -- When local resident Olivia Michel reported to work on September 11, she received the surprise of her life! Olivia was selected among thousands of caregivers nationwide as the West Region Finalist for the Caregiver of the Year … but she didn’t know it until she walked into work to a surprise “reveal event” at the BrightStar Care office in Van Nuys. The event was complete with a trophy, sash, cake, speeches and local news cameras.

San Fernando Valley resident Olivia Michel, an experienced caregiver, was nominated by Carol Mass, daughter of BrightStar Care clients. In her nomination letter, Carol writes “Olivia is part of a team that takes care of my parents, 24 hours per day. My father is 95 years old. He has prostate cancer, and suffered a fall with hip replacement last year. My mother is 84, is in good health but has some memory lapses. My parents are able to live in their own home and function very well with the help of Olivia — we are so grateful.”
