BrightWave CEO Simms Jenkins was honored with the first ever Lifetime Achievement Award and BrightWave Campaign Manager Lyndsey Adamo was chosen as a finalist for this year’s Rising Star award.
Jenkins accepted the award on the Buckhead Theatre stage among hundreds of his peers, after a video played that looked back at his career and the meteoric rise of BrightWave as North America’s leading email marketing agency over the past 10 years. He graciously thanked his early advocates and peers, as well as his family, clients and BrightWave team, for making his success possible.

As the founder of the preeminent email agency in the country, a prolific thought leader and generous, thoughtful contributor to Atlanta’s digital community, Simms Jenkins is the deserving recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Since its beginnings over 10 years ago, Simms turned a one-person start-up into a global leader in email marketing services, bringing on big brands like Google, Aflac, Chick-fil-A, Equifax, LinkedIn and the Weather Channel. His strong thought leadership in the email space is second to none: Simms has authored over 250 articles and written two definitive books on email marketing, in addition to appearing in publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal to Wired to Fortune Magazine.
Most of all, Simms has led by example, working tirelessly on behalf of the digital community, mentoring his email dream team and nurturing other leaders in the space. He is a champion of all things digital—and truly deserving of this accolade.

Lyndsey Adamo joined BrightWave as Special Projects Coordinator in December 2013, quickly advancing to Campaign Coordinator then Campaign Manager faster than any employee in the company’s 11-year history.
