Brits to benefit from better air access to Turkey’s Mediterranean coast in 2015
London (PRWEB) February 13, 2015 -- In a sign of confidence for the region, British Airways is launching services to Bodrum and Dalaman from Gatwick on 27th April 2015. The Bodrum route will run until 22nd October 2015, flying on Mondays and Thursdays, while the Dalaman route will be available until 24th October 2015, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. BA also flies direct to Istanbul Ataturk, and Izmir Metropolitan.

BA’s new flights to Bodrum Airport will make it easier for travellers from the UK to reach the chic harbour town of Bodrum, which is just a 40-minute transfer, as well as other desirable resorts on the Bodrum Peninsula, including Yalikavak (50 minutes), Gumusluk (60 minutes) and Turgutreis (60 minutes). Bodrum Airport currently handles approximately 3.5 million passengers a year.

Significant road infrastructure improvements mean transfer journeys to and from Dalaman Airport have improved drastically in recent years. Dalaman Airport currently handles approximately 4.2 million passengers a year.
