Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association (BMMA) Elects New 2020-2021 Board of Directors

Industry-leading forum continues to attract leading telcos and broadband vendors at recent Annual Meeting held virtually on May 5, 2020.

The Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association (BMMA), an international organization dedicated to bringing together broadband marketing professionals from the telco and vendor communities to share best practices, recently elected its Board of Directors for 2020-2021 at the BMMA 2020 Annual Meeting held virtually on May 5th.

The BMMA Board of Directors for 2020-2021 includes:

  • Secretary: Jonathan Bond, Cincinnati Bell

  • Executive Director: Ellis D. Hill, ResearchFirst, Inc.

BMMA creates an open forum with other service providers from across the country and Canada to share the latest industry topics related to products and marketing, research analysis, while having great open discussions on best practices, challenges, and opportunities. I’m proud and appreciate the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors and look forward to another exciting year,” said Roger Lewis, re-elected BMMA Board member co-chair and Product Manager for GVTC.

We would not have been as successful with our linear TV exit strategy, or our launch of managed Wi-Fi, without access to the tools, research, and relationships the association provides. This is our secret; and it’s what keeps us ahead of the competition. BMMA has created a unique peer engagement platform that allows both service operators and vendors to be successful in times of crisis, and celebration,” added Jonathan Babbitt, re-elected BMMA Board of Directors co-chair and VP of Product Marketing & Sales for MTA.

“Having a group of peer service providers that we can lean on when making important decisions regarding products, competition, and customer trends is invaluable. Gaining knowledge from these peers on best practices, getting their sound advice, and relying on them to validate our thinking allows TDS to make better decisions which can greatly accelerate company initiatives in our fast-paced industry. The depth of these peer connections would not have been possible without the help of the BMMA,” said Casey Thompson, re-elected BMMA Board member treasurer and Sr. Manager of Data Product Management for TDS.

I’ve been involved with the BMMA for 10 years and can attest to the organization’s ongoing commitment to providing members with information about industry trends, market conditions, and the challenges and opportunities presented by our industry.”
