Bruce Reiner Joins RadSite as Chief Medical Officer
ANNAPOLIS, Md. In his new role, Dr. Reiner will help oversee RadSite’s quality-benchmarking programs, support several key committees, and assist in the development of future imaging outcome measures. RadSite is one of just four organizations recognized by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to offer advanced diagnostic imaging accreditation. Pursuant to the MIPPA Accreditation (MAP), RadSite accredits CT, MRI, PET, and SPECT – also referred to as nuclear medicine – diagnostic imaging machines. Dr. Reiner is licensed in 22 states, and holds certifications from the National Board of Medical Examiners as well as the American Board of Radiology. In addition to RadSite, he currently serves as a consulting radiologist for the Maryland Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in Baltimore. Dr. Reiner received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and has been in practice since 1986.
