Bryan Haviland Named FrazierHeiby President
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) February 26, 2015 -- Bryan Haviland has been named president for FrazierHeiby, a public relations firm in Columbus, Ohio.
The move is part of a planned transition in which Haviland will become CEO in 2016, succeeding Tom Heiby. Heiby remains CEO through the end of the year and will remain engaged as a senior consultant to the firm in 2016. Doug Frazier will continue as a major shareholder and chief strategy officer.
“We have just closed a record year and much of that success is due to Bryan’s contributions to growing the business and developing effective client strategies,” said Heiby. “He has brought a fresh perspective to the firm and we look forward to future growth and success with him as president.”
Haviland has more than 30 years of strategic and creative communications and marketing experience. Prior to joining FrazierHeiby in 2013, he served as executive vice president of client services and COO for Fahlgren Mortine. He has also held the positions of chief communications officer for Nationwide Financial Services and senior vice president of corporate practice for Paul Werth Associates.
A member of the Public Relations Society of America Counselors Academy, Haviland serves on the board of directors for the Central Ohio chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He also serves on the Development Advisory Committee for the Muskingum Water Conservancy District. He has been a mentor in the 10Xelerator Entrepreneur Program at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business and serves as a volunteer with Team Heart & Sole, a nonprofit organization that serves people with disabilities. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ohio University.
