BTCC Introduces Titanium Collectible Containing Full Bitcoin Block
Shanghai (PRWEB) June 30, 2016 -- BTCC today announced the release of a new series of titanium collectibles that each contain an entire bitcoin block. The Bitcoin Block is the world’s first physical bitcoin product to contain the full uncirculated block reward.
The Bitcoin Block is also the first collectible physical bitcoin product to come with a complimentary engraving service — Forever™. Forever™ is a proprietary BTCC service that permanently engraves customers’ personal messages onto the bitcoin blockchain. With this Bitcoin Block collectable, the Forever™ message will also be laser etched on the back of the titanium block, matching the Forever™ message on the blockchain.

The Bitcoin Block is a square block, 80 millimeters wide and 10 millimeters thick. Each block is made of pure titanium, and weighs in at 10 ounces (283 grams). As of press time, the Bitcoin Block is worth more than its weight in gold.

The initial limited issue of the Bitcoin Block contains the full current bitcoin mining reward — 25 uncirculated bitcoins and a varying amount of transaction fees. After the July 2016 block halving, the block reward will come down to 12.5 bitcoins.
BTCC will begin accepting orders for the Bitcoin Block on July 1st.
The 2016 Bitcoin Block containing the 25 bitcoin block reward will sell for 30 BTC. BTCC will sell a limited quantity of these 25 bitcoin blocks, as they can only be mined up until the block reward halving.
After the block reward halving, BTCC will offer a new version of the Bitcoin Block that contains the 12.5 bitcoin block reward, which will sell for 15 BTC.
About the BTCC Mint Bitcoin Block
The Bitcoin Block features a unique design. The top obverse of the Bitcoin Block features the BTCC logo, “BTCC MINT,” “N Series,” “Titanium,” and the year, which are all in relief. The bottom obverse contains the block height, the number of bitcoins in the Block, and the QR code of the bitcoin address, in laser etching. This is all set against a smooth surface, and surrounded by a smooth rim.
The obverse also contains a raised circle encasing the hologram sticker. The circle has “IN CRYPTO WE TRUST,” two laurels, and stars engraved into it. The laurels indicate BTCC’s belief of the superiority of bitcoin over fiat currencies and its vision of a future world in which everyone uses bitcoin. The stars represent the current generation number of the bitcoin block reward; the Block currently has two stars. The Block will feature three stars after the block halving in July 2016.
The counterfeit-proof hologram sticker is tamper-evident, and has a unique design with the BTCC logo and the words “LIMITED EDITION,” “BITCOIN BLOCKCHAIN BLOCK REWARD,” “NEWLY MINED,” and “N SERIES.” The sticker also contains the public address of the Block, set against a pattern of BTCC logos.
Customers may order a personalized Forever™ message to be laser-engraved on the reverse of the Block to make it an even more unique gift or personal souvenir. Each Forever™ message is also engraved permanently onto the bitcoin blockchain. The Forever™ personalization service is complimentary with the purchase of the Bitcoin Block.
Each Block is packaged in a premium square rosewood display box with a black velvet lining.
