Bud Owen and Tony Click Join Clinverse, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Technology Officer
Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Clinverse, Inc., a global technology and eclinical commerce network for clinical trials, announced today the addition of Bud Owen as Chief Financial Officer and Tony Click as Chief Technology Officer. Both Bud and Tony bring extensive experience in their respective fields and serve as strategic members of the management team for the company.
In his role as CFO, Bud leads all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, treasury, tax and human resources activities. He is a veteran senior finance executive who was most recently with Clinipace, Inc., a global CRO. Prior to Clinipace, Bud served as CFO at a number of global companies in the software, web services, media and chemical industries. During his career, he has been either a principal or an advisor in more than 40 M&A transactions with a total transaction value of $1.5 billion. Bud has a Master of Business Administration from Queens University (Canada) and is an Ernst & Young (Toronto) alumni.
As Chief Technology Officer, Tony is responsible for all technical and architectural aspects of Clinverse’s software and eclinical commerce network. He brings more than 20 years of experience developing customer software solutions across many industries including finance, insurance, publishing, telecom, construction and utilities. His specialties include systems with high throughput, computationally intensive and ‘Big Data’ requirements. Prior to joining Clinverse, Tony provided outsourced CTO services for early-stage startups and served as the VP of Enterprise Architecture at Merkle, a database analytics company. Tony also ran his own consulting firm for 11 years, which delivered architectural and project management services. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
