Budget Blinds Announces New Achievements and Recognition in the New Year
Orange, CA (PRWEB) January 27, 2016 -- Budget Blinds, an international custom window coverings franchise and Home Franchise Concepts (HFC) brand, is proud to announce new milestones, achievements and recognition that further define the company’s business model and its position as a leader in the home improvement space.
Recently named a 2016 Top Franchisor by Franchise Business Review (FBR), Budget Blinds ranked 1st in the home services category for franchisee satisfaction and is one of the newest inductees as a FBR Hall of Fame member, making the FBR’s annual franchisee satisfaction list 10 separate times. FBR surveyed 28,000 franchise owners who represent 339 brands to determine top franchises for 2016. Budget Blinds franchise owners surveyed “strongly agreed their franchisor acts with a high level of Honesty & Integrity” and reported “more flexibility in their schedules.” They also revealed their franchisor outperformed in the Training & Support category, including Marketing & Promotions, System-Wide Communications, Use of Technology, and Ongoing Training & Support.
This month, Budget Blinds celebrates the one-year anniversary of its franchise in Monterrey, Mexico. Launched in 2014, Budget Blinds welcomed its first Mexican franchisee, Adrian Solis, who opened the first Mexico Budget Blinds in Solis’ hometown of Monterrey as part of his existing home décor business that serves residential and commercial properties in the region.
Solis chose Budget Blinds after identifying a gap in the window covering options available in Mexico. After one year of being in business, Solis continues to proudly showcase Budget Blinds’ premiere window covering options and trends that resonate with his customers. “Bringing the diverse Budget Blinds offerings to customers who are looking to create unique and beautifully designed spaces is exciting,” said Solis.
Solis aims to continue growing the brand in his territory to demonstrate that the franchise model can be as strong and successful in Mexico as it is in the United States and Canada.
In December, 2015, Shirin Behzadi took the helm at HFC as Chief Executive Officer, advancing from her previous position as Chief Financial Officer. Shirin joined Budget Blinds in 1999, providing fiscal, strategic and operational guidance for Budget Blinds as well as HFC’s family of brands, including Tailored Living, BB Commercial Solutions, Inspired Drapes, Concrete Craft and MADE Blinds.
“As I reflect on Budget Blinds’ growth and the growth of Home Franchise Concepts– from having one brand with less than 100 franchise territories to four brands serving nearly 9,000 cities in North America – it has been a pleasure to contribute to all aspects of our growth and to know that we have something very special with our franchisees and our brands,” said Behzadi. “This is an exciting time for all of us, and we are poised and empowered to take our business to the next level.”
