Buffalo Emerging Opportunities Implementing Soft-Close
Mission, KS (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- Effective November 18, 2013, the Buffalo Funds filed a prospectus supplement announcing the soft-close of the Buffalo Emerging Opportunities Fund. The Fund is closed to new investors. The Fund remains open to additional investments from existing investors, all clients of existing Advisors, Consultants, and Employer Sponsored Retirement Plans (401k, etc).
“Continued investor cash flows into the Buffalo Emerging Opportunities Fund have resulted in the Fund’s assets under management being above $475 million. We had previously indicated our intentions to soft-close the Fund when this asset level was reached and hope investors were able to take advantage of that notice to become shareholders of the Fund.” – Kent Gasaway, President of Buffalo Funds.

“Our decision to soft-close the Buffalo Emerging Opportunities Fund is in-line with our goals to continue to provide existing Fund shareholders with a long term strategy for success. We appreciate the strong investor cash flows year-to-date and will continue our effort as we seek to build the Fund’s performance track record through investments in early-stage growth companies which we believe should benefit from long-term trends we have identified.” – John Bichelmeyer, Portfolio Manager of Buffalo Emerging Opportunities Fund
Supermarket platforms (Schwab, Fidelity, TDAmeritrade) are being notified of this change.
