Buffalo Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation Attorneys Urging Companies to Re-Examine Safety Measures on Job Sites
Buffalo, New York (PRWEB) October 31, 2013 -- Lewis & Lewis, P.C., western New York's largest combined personal injury and workers' compensation attorney firm, is hoping to shed light on the imminent dangers of construction sites, as well as asking companies to reevaluate their safety practices in an effort to prevent tragic accidents.
Two workers have died this year while working on the brand new San Francisco 49ers stadium in Santa Clara, California. NBC Bay Area reported that an investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is underway.
"These types of accidents can happen anywhere, so it's important that companies have their employees' safety in mind at all times," said Emily Downing, attorney at Lewis & Lewis. "It doesn't have to be on the site of a major sports stadium; a fatal accident can happen anywhere."
Lewis & Lewis is also asking that employees ask about the safety measures their employers have put in place, and to contact the Lewis & Lewis office in Buffalo with any questions regarding legal concerns with jobsite safety.
