Building 10 Technology Hits Kickstarter Goal For The World's First Connected Peephole, Peeple
Austin, TX (PRWEB) June 21, 2015 -- Building 10 Technology's Kickstarter campaign for Peeple has recently been successfully funded. To date, over 500 backers have purchased a Peeple. Peeple is available until June 26th.
Peeple is the elegant, compact, and east-to-use caller ID for your front door. Peeple is a smart camera that attaches to existing peepholes and easily connects to home Wi-Fi to identify, inform, screen, and alert people to any outside presence. With Peeple installed, you will know when the kids got home, if the package arrived, or if there's a potential intruder at the rental property. When the house is empty, Peeple is home.
Peeple connects to home Wi-Fi and sends notifications to a home owner's smart phone when someone knocks or opens the door. Home owners can be anywhere in the world and as long as they have a mobile phone with a signal, they will receive the notification. The Peeple app (free for iOS and Android) will allow home owners to virtually look through the peephole and see who is at their door.
"I invented Peeple after my three year old son wandered out the front door without us knowing. He was brought back home safe by a neighbor, but I realized then that our front door was a blind spot," said Chris Chuter, co-founder of Building 10 Technology, the makers of Peeple in Austin, TX.
Peeple is only available on Kickstarter for pledge amounts from $99 to $164. The campaign ends on June 26th.
