Building for the Future – A Pathway to Successful Facility and Strategic Planning:
This session demonstrates how executives and boards can best work with financial consultants and other design and engineering professionals to model strategic options from which a mission-based strategic plan can be developed. It’s critical for nonprofits to answer the following planning questions conclusively: What services and improvements are needed? What are the physical limitations and capital replacement needs of the community? What can we reasonably afford? Attendees will learn how facility assessments and capital replacement funding positions them to objectively model and validate a renovation, repositioning, or replacement of a building or an entire community.
