Building God's Way to Host 3 Seminars for Church Leaders in Southern CA from Sept 10-12, Offering Innovative Strategies for Building, Remodeling & Funding Facilities
San Marcos, CA (PRWEB) August 20, 2013 -- Building God’s Way (BGW), a nationwide church architect and builder network that provides a broad range of services to Christian ministries, will host its first 3 seminars of the fall season in Southern California on September 10, 11 and 12.
The seminars, entitled "Rise Up & Build", will feature expert speakers in the areas of architecture, construction, funding and church growth. In addition, local ministry leaders will share their experience in leading members through capital improvement projects and how they persevered, in spite of fears or reservations.
On Tuesday, September 10, the seminar will be hosted at Mission Hills Church in San Marcos, CA, a 54,000 SF building and 32 acre campus development that was completed by Erickson-Hall Construction, co-host of the seminar. The seminar on Wednesday, September 11 will be hosted at Hemet Valley Baptist Church, another Erickson-Hall Construction project and BGW design that was completed in June. One Thursday, September 12, the seminar will move north to The Bridge Bible Church in Bakersfield, CA and will be co-hosted by Hilbers, Inc.
Based on the story of Nehemiah in the Old Testament, the seminar will focus on helping churches and Christian schools step out in faith and expand or retool facilities that allow expanded ministry opportunities in their community. Experts in church design and construction will share about a unique, Biblical approach to designing and building ministry facilities that can save 20-30% compared to typical construction methods. Attendees will learn how churches and Christian schools across the country are turning their construction sites into mission fields through a program called “The Ministry of Construction”.
Experienced church architects will share innovative master planning strategies to leverage both land and buildings to generate revenue and sustain ministries financially through creative lease agreements, community partnerships and private equity investment. Pastor funding consultants will share about a strategy called Hearing from God, a refreshing concept that leverages a total stewardship approach to raising capital.
