Building Intelligence to Offer Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) Protection for Large Enterprise and Government Clients

SDP is based on a strong security model that only allows TCP connections from pre-authorized users and their devices. The primary effect of the SDP is that it transforms the application infrastructure into an effectively invisible or “black cloud” environment that shows no domain name system (DNS) information or IP addresses.
Developed by the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) SDP Working Group and Waverley Labs, and adopted by the CSA and its members, the SDP specification incorporates security standards from organizations such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as well as security concepts from organizations such as the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) into an integrated framework. In particular, it has been proven to stop all forms of network attacks including DDoS, Man-in-the-Middle, Advanced Persistent Threat (APT), and the top 10 OWASP application attacks that have plagued companies for decades.
SDPs are particularly relevant for industries with large mission critical infrastructure and applications such as energy, financial services, transportation and the Federal government. High profile implementations include leading enterprises such as Coca-Cola, Mazda, and Google, and in the public sector by DHS who have enormous financial and reputation interests in protecting and removing risk of being impacted by attacks. SDPs are proven and continue to be tested in organized industry “hack-a-thons” (such as RSA) with an estimated 10 billion attempts to date – all unsuccessful.
