Loudoun, VA (PRWEB) November 18, 2014 -- College Nannies and Tutors of Loudoun serving Loudoun County, Great Falls and surrounding communities announced Northern Virginia mother and entrepreneur Caitlin Gillett is the new franchise owner. Gillett brings a lifetime of childcare and teaching experience – and a newfound passion for parenthood – to the role.
“When I’m interviewing nannies in Northern Virginia I’m carefully assessing, would I leave my child with this person?” said GilIett. “I want to help other mothers solve questions like, ‘Are the kids happy?’ ‘Who’s going to make dinner?’ ‘Is the homework done and do-able?’ Moms are so busy juggling family, career, and the house. I want to help lighten that load so they can spend more quality time with their children.”
Serving Northern Virginia since 2008, the College Nannies and Tutors franchise was purchased by Gillett and her husband Simon earlier this year. The couple assumed operations on July 21, 2014, and the office immediately had a record-breaking month.
“We realized right away we were building stronger families in the community,” said Gillett. “We know happy children and successful students really make a stronger family, so we tailor what we do to each family and their unique needs and goals. We start with a family meeting and go from there. It’s a customized solution that is family first. We’re thrilled to be filling this critical need for busy families in Loudoun and Great Falls.”

As a local mother and entrepreneur, Gillett is dedicated to delivering responsible, enthusiastic, and inventive role model nannies and tutors to families in Loudoun County, Great Falls and surrounding communities. As a childcare provider, biology tutor and lab instructor, Gillett discovered her passion for children and teaching while attending the University of Minnesota, Duluth, where she earned a degree in Integrated Biosciences. Taking her skills abroad, she went on to teach at the elementary school level in South Korea and at a high school in France. She currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and their infant daughter.
