Buildworks, Inc. to Co-Sponsor Esteemed Architectural Panel Discussion on Morris Lapidus and his Legacy
Miami, FL (PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- In conjunction with the FIU College of Architecture + The Arts Miami Beach Urban Studios, and the FIU Department of Architecture exhibition, “Lincoln Road Follies: Morris Lapidus” and the Centennial of Miami Beach, Buildworks cordially invites you to a discussion, “Learning from Lapidus on Lincoln.” The panelists will explore issues of preservation, luxury, progress, and creativity in the work and legacy of Miami Beach architect Morris Lapidus.
“We hope this will be the first of many opportunities to support the good work of the Miami Beach Urban Studios,” said Peter Licavoli of Buildworks, Inc.
The event will include introductions by Miami Beach commissioner Michael Grieco, and FIU College of Architecture + The Arts dean, Brian Schriner, participants will include:
