BullsEye Event Group Teams Up with the Indianapolis Colts to Host the 9th Annual Sacking Hunger Food Drive
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- Bullseye Event Group, the Official Events and Travel Partner of the Indianapolis Colts, has teamed up with the Colts and Meijer, the Official Supercenter of the Colts, as the associate sponsor of the ninth annual SACKing Hunger Food Drive.
Anyone can donate online to the SACKing Hunger Virtual Food Drive through November 29, 2014. Visit http://bit.ly/sackinghunger to shop food items and donate to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana via credit card, which also displays the number of individuals the donation will help feed. On Sunday, November 23 prior to the Jacksonville Jaguars-Colts home game, volunteers collected canned/non-perishable food items at the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located outside each Lucas Oil Stadium gate. Fans who donated on Sunday received a limited edition poster featuring Colts players, while supplies lasted.
All donations benefit Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, an organization that stores and distributes donated food to more than 350 hunger relief agencies that serve Indiana’s impoverished households.
“We are very proud to partner with the Colts and Meijer on the SACKing Hunger Food Drive,” says Bullseye Event Group representative Kyle Kinnett. “Giving back to our community is very important to us, especially during the holidays.”
In addition to sponsoring the Colts’ SACKing Hunger Food Drive, Bullseye Event Group is responsible for serving over 8000 meals to people in need at the Watkins Family Center on Thanksgiving Day. “We purchase the food and send it out to the Indiana Women’s Prison where the female inmates cook the food. It’s something we have done for our community for 10 years now, it’s very much a grass roots initiative but that’s the way we like it” said Kyle Kinnett.
